Korean girl band "Girls Generation", a hybrid of Girls Aloud,The Saturdays and The Sugababes, have made a remake of Duffy's Mercy under the title of "Dancing Queen". Using their own lyrics (in Korean) with the original melody and rhythm, this is the result.

Duffy - Flower Girls
Duffy has dropped a really cute photo onto her facebook page. I wish she would give us a little more information, such as who is she with and where are they. Looks like it may be an old one as there are still leaves on the trees, or is she somewhere warmer? How about it Duffs.

Duffy out in London 19-10-2012
By J J Anisiobi Mailonline, Photos from Xposure.
PUBLISHED: 09:04, 20 October 2012
Earlier this month she was left devastated when her £12million London home was destroyed by a fire.
But Duffy was seen getting back into the swing of things on Friday morning when she headed out for breakfast.
The soulful singer was seen in South Kensington, London, getting coffee with a friend at a local cafe as she put the drama behind her.
Stylish Duffy was dressed incredibly well for the early morning date (probably en route to the airport to board a plane to Dubai) and looked foxy in a pair of leather trousers.
She teamed them with a baggy dark green top, a smart black blazer and matching stilettos.
Despite her recent bad news Duffy couldn't help but smile as she stopped and looked adoringly at two babies being pushed past her in a stroller.

DUFFY'S KENSINGTON PENTHOUSE BEFORE THE FIRE
I wonder if the piano was destroyed? You may remember it from her recording of the Etta James track "Trust In Me". We now know that it was recorded at home.
The apartment, at Abbot House off Kensington High Street, was put up for sale earlier this year for 8.75 million pounds. Duffy rented the apartment while recording her third album.

DUFFY SAFE AFTER ESCAPING PENTHOUSE FIRE
London Evening Standard October 4 2012
It's a question often asked in celebrity interviews — if fire was engulfing your home, what would you rescue first?
Duffy can now answer from experience: her pets.
She was forced to flee her £12 million home in Kensington last night after a blaze broke out in the loft-style apartment.
Ignoring possessions — it’s not known whether her Grammy award and three Brits were stored there — jewellery and clothes, her only thought was for her two cats and a dog.
Neighbours said the Smoke Without Fire singer appeared dazed as she was led from the penthouse, which is on the ninth and 10th floors.
While she managed to rescue the dog and one cat, another called Felix disappeared in the chaos and Duffy was seen calling out: “Where’s my cat? Come on, come here.”
Neighbour Maria McLeod. 47, gave the singer coffee after she fled the blaze but didn’t realise who she was at the time. She said: “I gave her a cup of coffee and she said her cleaner was there and needed some too. She was lovely, just in shock.
“I asked her what had happened. She said ‘that’s my flat!’ kind of half-laughing in shock.
“She said that when she left the flat she had to shout ‘Felix this is your last chance!’ She thought they would have to leave him there.
“I just felt sorry for her.”
A friend eventually found the cat hiding under a white van and after being reunited with her owner, the two were driven away in a black Mercedes just before 10pm.
More than 20 other residents in the block weren’t so lucky — they had to spend the night in a nearby rescue centre after being told to evacuate their flats.
While Duffy’s cats escaped without injury, neighbours say she also had pet goldfish. Their fate is unknown.
More than 60 firefighters battled for six hours to put out the fire, which started just before 7pm, and crews were continuing to dampen down the building this morning. An investigation has been launched.
The rented apartment has its own swimming pool, cinema and two outdoor terraces. Duffy was due to leave the property in the next few days.
It is thought she had recently returned to the recording studio and was due to perform in the United Arab Emirates this month.

Duffy, Joss Stone, Sandy Shaw and Rumer - The new "Girls Club"
The honey-toned soul singer Rumer has just attended the first meeting of her new “ladies group”, which involved “drinking wine and gossiping. What girls do, really”. Sandy Shaw was hostess, Joss Stone and Duffy dropped in, along with various female producers and songwriters.
“It came out of the idea that women in music should connect and support each other, ’cause it’s a very male-dominated industry, and there’s still a lot of sexism. It helps to be able to compare experiences. You can feel quite isolated in this job.
“There’s not many people in ordinary life you can ask: 'When you are standing on stage and somebody yawns, how do you feel about that?’ It was nice to talk. We’ll have the next one at Duffy’s house and invite more people.”
It is such a funny image, these female superstars gathering in each other’s living rooms to have a moan about the music business.

Duffy - The Beatles "The Lost Concert"
The Beatles: The Lost Concert
A New Documentary Including Their 1st U.S. Concert – Complete and Remastered!
The Beatles: The Lost Concert is a new documentary recounting the whole story of the birth of Beatlemania in America. From an initial phone call from US promoter Sid Bernstein to the manager of a then-unknown band from the UK, all the way thorough to their first-ever historic and triumphant U.S. concert at the Washington, D.C. Coliseum. Through rare archival footage and new interviews with some of the people who were there, and chock full of memorabilia, archival footage and artifacts it details how The Beatles were first brought to America, their struggle to get a U.S. record contract and airplay, how their first concert was booked and all the incredible events of that historic day in February when the Fab Four took a train from New York to Washington, D.C. to perform a full concert in front of an American audience for the first time.
The whole story unfolds through new interviews with celebrities, historically important figures, journalists, DJs, photographers, historians, and fans who attended the original 1964 concert - plus historic archival footage.
Duffy is one of those interviewed.

Is Duffy Working With Pharrell Williams?
Speculation at the moment but........
You might not know Pharrell Williams, but you most certainly know his work. That’s because this multiple award-winning artist is responsible for producing some of the biggest hits of the past two decades, including songs by Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Ludacris, to name but a few. In fact, a survey found that Pharrell was personally responsible for producing 43% of the songs played on U.S. radio.
