Duffy to attend Patagonia Premiere Thursday 3 March 2011 - Cardiff

Duffy will be appearing in Cardiff on Thursday (March 3rd) at the opening of her film "Patagonia".

With the opening of Patagonia in UK cinemas next week will Duffy make an appearance?

She was due to air an interview with Claudia Winkleman on Friday March 4th on the BBC Radio2 Arts Show at 10pm. Although appearing in newspaper radio listings  there is no mention of her on the programmes web page.

WELSH songstress Duffy has said she will take a break from the music industry.
Representatives of the 26- year-old, who found fame and fortune with her debut album Rockferry, said she would be leaving the public spotlight but WAS planning a further album.
A statement released yesterday said: “Duffy is taking a break before starting work on her next album.”

DUFFY QUITTING MUSIC - My Boy Axed?

It seems reports that Duffy is withdrawing from the music industry for a while may be true and that My Boy - due for release in March -  has unexpectedly been pulled.

We await  official confirmation.

Duffy's 2008/9 Backing Singers - The Cosmic Girls - Charlotte & Stephanie Walker.

Soon to release their debut single "The One" under their new name The Cosmic Girls, Stephanie and Charlotte Walker first took to the stage with Duffy at the televised St Luke's concert, London,  in October 2008. They went on to accompany Duffy on a world tour throughout the rest of 2008 and 2009 and are  now actively building their own following.
